Cabin Features and Amenities
A: Squirrel's Leap comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, featuring a master bedroom with a queen bed and a loft with a low double bed. Loft is accessible by ladder only, so the guesthouse is another option with 2 single beds.
A: The cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, wood-burning fireplace, screened gazebo, unlimited Wi-Fi, remote work desk, ROKU Smart TV, and a 3-piece bathroom with a shower.
A: Yes, dogs are welcome. Owners must ensure pets are well-behaved, cleaned up after, and do not disturb neighbours.
A: Absolutely. There is unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the cabin and a remote work desk, making it ideal for working remotely.
A: Bedding, bathroom towels and linens for the kitchen are provided. Bring your beach towels and favourite pillow(s) if desired!
Booking and Policies
A: You can view the availability calendar and then check key info on booking. Once ready to book, contact us by email to reserve your spot.
A: 50% of the rental fee is due up front with the balance due 3 weeks prior to arrival date. If stay is less than 3 weeks away, full payment is due upon booking. As we are a small operation, credit cards are not accepted. Standard method of payment is by email transfer to tremblantescapes@gmail.com
A: The cabin is best suited for a couple, a small family, or a solo escape. If you have small children, they should not access the loft, which is by ladder only.
A: We rent only to responsible adults older than 30 years of age.
A: As we are a small operation, if you need to cancel your reservation 30 days or more before your arrival, we can offer you alternate dates based on availability within 2 months after your initial booked dates. There are no refunds.
Check-in, Check-out and House Rules
A: Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM, and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.
A: No smoking of any kind is permitted inside the cabin. Smoking is allowed outside, at least 9 meters from the cabin or outdoor structures. Waste must be disposed of in a safe manner.
A: Given the cabin's well and septic system set-up, the cabin is only suitable to accommodate up to 4 people. Having a couple of guests over for dinner is acceptable, but they cannot stay overnight.
A: Check-out procedures will be confirmed in the rental agreement. They will provide a checklist of easy to follow instructions to adhere to on check-out day.
A: When you arrive at the cabin and turn the TV on, you will have the option to enter your check-out date from the Guest Mode screen. The date entered will be used to automatically log you out of any streaming services you have added during your stay (Netflix, Prime, Crave, etc.)
Activities and Dining
A: The cabin is steps away from Parc Mont-Tremblant, offering swimming, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Mont-Tremblant's north side ski slopes are just 7 minutes away.
A: Absolutely. The cabin's proximity to ski slopes (Mont-Tremblant resort and Mont Blanc resort) and many trails in the Mont-Tremblant Park and in the surrounding region, makes it ideal for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing.
A: Yes, the Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant offers a relaxing experience and is within driving distance.
A: Too many to list!! Start with the south side of Mont-Tremblant, offering restaurants, shopping, and year-round activities - only a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Many golf courses are within 20-30 minutes. Many local Laurentian towns to explore, including St. Faustin, with it's tree-top walk Sentier des cimes, Saint Sauveur with its water slide park. A: Yes, La Farouche café is 2 minutes away (seasonal hours). L'&Eactue;talage Marché Gourmand for groceries and ready-made meals, the Rustique Bar and Restaurant and Le Bistro Loch are all 10 minutes away! Many more options within driving distance in Mont-Blanc, St-Jovite, the old Tremblant village, or at the Tremblant resort!
